get used to my disregard for capital letters

becasue quite frankly, I get enough of that at uni, and this is the internet, for goodness sake. you'd think I could relax here without some grammar nazi breathing down my neck. and anyway. this is my blog. I shall do what i bally well please.

so. hello. my name is kim. but this is the internet, so you can call me pilgrim. i may be lax when it comes to grammar, but it is internet custom to have a screen name, and i pride myself on my ability to adapt to custom. my screen name is young pilgrim. if you don't know why you should go to this website and listen to some sample songs because then you will love the shins and understand why i am young pilgrim. two birds with one link. 

anyway this is a blog, and in it i will be blogging. i will try to be entertaining. i know i've not proven this so far. sometimes I will copy my friend Emmah (who's blog is always awesome) and big up music, artists and friends of mine who are doing fabulous things. most of the time I will talk about myself, and my life, but don't worry because my life is pretty amusing for those that are not living it. Sometimes I will put up little bits of writing that I might be doing, to work through a block or just for exercise. did I mention i'm a writer? probably best not to... this blog is pretty tedious already and it's only the first post. god know's you won't read my book if the writing here is an indication of the writing there.

i will always try and be truthful, although this is my life and a little bit of artistic license never hurt anyone, but if i go off into the depths of fantasy as i often do, then I will at least try and give adequate warning.

if you like random drawings you should go here becasue that is my website. if i like you enough i might doodle you something and put it up there. but only if you are exceptionally nice. and it might take a few months because i am not terribly pro-active.
